Also make sure then when you assign the router to AP mode that you assign it a local ip that is out of the way to avoid any conflict like 192.168.1.100. When a wireless router isn't in AP mode they assign devices different IP addresses. Make sure the wireless router is in "Access Point Mode" (AP mode) so that the ip address in the modem match the ip assigned by the router. Next step is the wireless router if you use one. There are two modes called TCP and UDP and i set it to "both" but this is where i would do a google search to see what settings you will need to use for your specific modem.Īlso set a static IP to the PC you are using so the IP doesn't get reassigned. The list of devices on your network can be found on the network map in your modem settings. Make sure you set them to the local IP of the pc you want to use.
